I got sick of not having a list of what paints I have with me when finding tutorials online etc, so created a little app for iPhone to track my Citadel paint collection. It's very (very!) basic, literally a checklist at the moment. If people are interested, I'm thinking of adding functionality to save your list online, create a "shopping list" and share colour schemes. Hopefully someone else will find it useful too: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/paint-p ... 37891?mt=8 |

Just downloaded your Paint Pot app, great idea! No more lists in the Notes app for me thanks to your fancy creation. Thanks! |

Not at the moment I'm afraid. When I build the web side of it, I'll make sure at the very least it works nicely on Android and see what I can do to get it on Google Play. |

Sounds like a very good idea. Might be good to add a picture with the colour if possible in the future - that way you can compare if what you have is close enough to what you want to be able to make do. |

Just downloaded it thanks. Do you have an Apple developer account for some other Apps or did you get one just for this? |

It's my company's developer account, we built the app as a little side project. |

Great idea. Haven't checked it out yet and with minimal to no hobbying going on for me I have no current use for it but I appreciate how helpful it must be. |

Looks very useful, I have a Google spreadsheet where I have the same data and use the Reminders app as a shopping list. This could replace those two separate things as my one paint list. Unfortunately I can't install it to my iPhone running iOS 6. Other things I track with my spreadsheet are the old Citadel and Vallejo equivalencies since I still have lots of old Citadel paints and occassionally buy Vallejo instead. Showing the equivalencies could be useful in the app too. -- Pasi |

A great idea. Are you able to do one for Vallejo please? |

I like the idea of having the conversion chart for the old colours on there - most tutorials and tips I pick up have the old colours on there. I think adding Vallejo colours is a good idea too. I need to update it so all paints can be edited remotely - at the moment all the data is in the app when it ships, and I've already spotted a few mistakes! Trying to balance working on the app with actually painting at the moment! |
