just wondering, does anybody know of these cards? they are really cool. i don't collect them, i just save the images as references.

Oh yeah, I play that game. It's the lotr tcg. Great game. It can now be played free on line at http://www.gempukku.com/gemp-lotr/

It has provided me fun and entertainment for 14 years.

no. i believe that they were created specifically for the cards only.

i actually know a guy who appeared on a decipher card. he worked for weta, on LOTR and avatar. he became a tutor in my class :gandalf:

There are some images from the first 10 sets that were axed from the film. Most are right out of the film. And, as pointed out, there are a lot of staged shots too. Like radagast, anarion, gahn buri gahn and elrond's sons, just to name a few. There are also a good number of shots taken from the skirmish between the elves and the moria goblins after gandalf's fall.
