Hey guys, what type of black primer do you use for your plastic minis? I'm not a fan of the GW black. And I've heard good things about Dupli-color sandable primer and Kyrlon or Tamiya. Where can they be found in AUS?

I use Army Painter black primer which you can get online from War and Peace Games (I have bought from them a bunch of times and they are reliable). However, I would consider this to be very similar to the GW primer. I also use the Tamiya white primer which works well - though you have to be careful to not spray on too heavily. I get this from my local hobby store.
Army painter make a bunch of primer colours so I suggest giving them a go first. However, I found their white primer to sometimes go 'grainy' leaving a rough surface on the mini. This might have been due to temperature extremes though.
