This latest battle report saw a new member to the Eastgrinstead club (Richard) field 1000 points of Harad against my 1000 point Durin's Folk, the club is growing and so are the number of games we play. Richard is not new to wargaming and boast a wealth of figures and amazing scenery for Hobbit SBG.

..will the Harad army dominate and destroy the dwarves, or will the Durins Folk sieze the day and hold off the Harad advance

Good battle report as always! The scenery and the models looked fantastic, I've always wanted to use a far Harad army but the price of the models have always kinda put me off about them.

Nice report, I could see the dwarf victory from mile away though. Why on earth did your opponent send the Wraith into combat with the Champion?

An intense battle, and the plethora of pictures conveyed this intensity well. I think his bowmen were a waste of points; it would have been better if he threw them into the fray; and man this King's Champion is a beast, hacking, and slashing his way through everything!! My mind is set, he will be one of our upcoming purchases.

My only criticism is that a bit more terrain would have been nice.

The short legs of the dwarves only make it worse when they walk all over your face...

Good, fun report. Have you considered doing story scenarios or battle companies? Might add a bit of spice. Still, very nice.
