Enjoyed another Fellowship of the Ring scenario with my youngest son. This time, he played the good forces and I controlled the Ring-wraiths. There was a tight spot in the middle of the game where I actually engaged Frodo and Sam, but judicious use of his limited Might points won the day for my son. In the end, Frodo, with the aide of Gildor, evades the Ring-wraiths in the Eastfarthing and continues east towards the Brandywine River.

Nice pics. Has your son read the books? If not, what does he make of these non-movie scenarios?

Yes, he's about half-way through his first time reading. We have been enjoying playing many of the scenarios that didn't get any screen time, which until now, was his only point of reference. He's a recent college grad that now has some free time to read for his own enjoyment. I don't think he's quite figured out that my willingness to let him live at home is motivated by having a willing scenario opponent at hand for weekly games!
