I was wandering in your opinion what's the best glue to use.

It depends whether you're glueing a metal or plastic model. I generally use super-glue for metal models, and plastic-glue for plastic models, but occasionally I'll use super-glue on plastic models (particularly if it's to repair something).

as said above, it depends upon what needs to be glued.

For metal models I use superglue and sometimes a mix of woodglue and greenstuff (sounds odd but makes a strong bond)
As for plastic models, plastic glue (I use revell but that's because it's the only cheapish good one I can get.) works fine.

And with scenery it really depends on what you need to glue.
so, there isn't a glue which is the best, they are all good for something.

But, woodglue, plasticglue and superglue are a must have.

I use super glue for both my metal and plastic models and for terrain I normally use tube glue for example that 'no more nails' stuff. I also use PVA from time to time as well for certain pieces.

I've used Contacta Professional from Revell. Got the tube when I was in the younger ages and got my first model (which was a 1/72 Hawker Typhoon from Airfix) and it works out for LotR and warhammer perfect. This tube has never gone empty so I still use it. :)

I grind my own horses, its really the only true way to glue something. All the others are taking the easy way out.

I use super glue for building models and PVA glue for basing them. I don't use plastic glue for plastic minis as it melts the plastic surfaces together meaning if I later want to change my minis around, it takes a lot more work cleaning away the melted plastic.

I use Superglue for Metal and Fincast minies, Plasticglue (10+ different brands) for plastics and Bizon Kit (generic glue-everything-rock-tight-glue) for terrain/basing/when I'm too lazy to get something else.
