just wondering if anyone has purchased the escape from goblin town paint guide from the games workshop digital products??
if so is it worth picking up??

Probably not,

You're better off following this site as they intend to put up a tutorial for each model, and Gareth is a fantastic painter:

This is a new low for GW. Does anyone else remember when they uploaded paint guides and hobby articles to their website for all to view freely? Now they are charging us to download them. Jeez.

and there were some really good painting, scenery and converting articles included in white dwarf also. Think it seems we have to pay for every aspect of the hobby from GW now!!!

@ukfreddybear - got a willow and linden tree giants for xmas looking forward to getting them built and painted may make a start at the weekend!!

I was surprised at the price and that there was so little content in the Box Set, Rule Book or White Dwarf. I thought at least for the box set they would do something.

I don't think there will be many sales but you never know...

i ended up buying it for the ipad, it is quite basic and doesnt tell you how to paint, just what paint to use where, and with what brush. There is only a single page for metalworks that ''can be applied to all the models'' theres a tutorial for gandalf, thorin, bilbo, each of the dwarves, a goblin warrior (that can be applied to the goblin captain, scribe, grinnah etc.) and the goblin king and brief section on scenery.
