So I posted about what I think is a good deal but I'm interested in everyone's own purchases where they think they did well so list them below.

I got a blister of the super rare Grey Company figures for around 30 quid from a top-tier good guy member on this site. Good stuff. Also, I hate bidding on Ebay. No matter how high I put a bid in on a mini some turd steals it away at the very last second. That's why I always look for Buy It Nows!

Nice! Grey company are awesome figures. I don't mind bidding I think In general I've had good deals so far.

10+ old metal LOTR models as a FREE BONUS off ebay because I'd spent over £50 with one particular ebay seller who's offloading his entire collection and he wanted to reward me for being "a loyal customer".

Seriously, I bought Gothmog, Sharku and some Fountain Court Guards, and the guy threw in Legolas, Gandalf (Bridge of Khazad Dum) and Aragorn for free.

I recently got 7 grey company models and the 3 hunters off eBay for $47 AUD which is about 27 pounds I believe.
I also got 50 odd plastic high elves and 5 blisters of high elf spearsmen with pretty much every high elf hero for $25 aud (14 poundsish) at a local games places 5 years anniversary. Best bargain ever!

Recently I bought Escape from Goblintown box set on Kijiji for what I would call a fair deal rather than amazing. Initially I don't care much for that box set except for the good heroes, never had it in my wishlist. It's retail $150 + $170 more for 17 paints, 4 brushes, and other hobby tools/stuff. Got it all for $200, so quite happy though I know I won't be touching that box set in a long long time.

$5 mounted Glorfindel in a bitz box at my local game store. Most likely will never use him though as looking at him closer I don't really like the model.

I got Dunedain of the North free blister cause they could not give tem away (some stuff goes OOP for a reason) and tis was at a GW store.
Got Minas Tirith wall NIB for $30
Moria Prowlers metal blister for $.99

I got tons of stuff at 25%-50% off over my years of collecting from stores going OOB.
And so far have not paid more than retail for anything else as I buy with-in the year of release of everything that I have wanted. If I didn't buy it then, well I can do without it if I can't find it again.

Of course for my birthday I got the 80's Balrog in box that comes with legolas, boromir, Gandalf. The sculpts are old looking, but it is a cool piece for the collection.

Just found a local indy store. Good prices on WH battalions, had me dropping lots of money. Sadly no Hobbit selection but EFGT for $95 instead of $150. I would've bought that if I hadn't already got it previously with that deal stated above in my post.

Well now I'm back into collecting WHFB because of this store. Just recently I bought a Vampire battalion: units at a total $190 individually to $150 battalion to store price of $95 and saving on taxes is a plus. So happy while at the same time concerned that I'm spending too much. Only GW can make you feel so good and bad at the same time!
