Went to my GW store today and bought the new Tauriel model. While there I looked at the other new Hobbit miniatures and while finecast isn't my favorite medium for miniatures, the detail is amazing. The manager said that the 200 North American Smaug models sold out within two hours. He also thought that we would get a new rule book similar to the Desolation of Smaug rulebook - will have to wait to see on that.

The new Tauriel:

***spoilers***

Yes, apparently that is the part in the trailer where we see him flinging at her and breaking her bow. He banishes her for abandoning the woodland realm, (where in DOS he had ordered no one was to leave). I understood there's also the point she aims her bow at him but I don't know wether this is intentional or in the heat of battle.

And note, this figure is indeed without a bow. Nice detail.
