Post subject:  Actors returning to the Hobbit and movie 2

Just a quick question here which i don't think has been answered anywhere, but is there a list anywhere of which actors are returning to the two films that were in the Lord of the Rings? Will Hugo Weaving be returning as Elrond? (I thought he was great in LotR and incredible in the Matrix) will there be Galadriel (providing there is a FotN film)? and what about the guy who was Círdan for about 5 seconds at the end of RotK? the only ones I Know of are Ian Mckellan and Andy Serkis (which i think is fantastic)

Well, you could have Christopher Lee, Ian Holm, Orlando Bloom, Marton Csokas and Liv Tyler reprise their roles as Saruman, Bilbo, Legolas, Celeborn and Arwen respectively.

I certainly hope so!

I wonder who they will cast as Thranduil ...

I think the actor you sad will appear with exception of Iam Holm, because now a days he´s very old to this role, Bilbo Baggins. I think they will use a young actor to this.

I understand that they will make an adaptation, and in this adaptation Viggo Mortensen should appears in the film. When he finds Arwen and consequently declares his love for her, and both stamp their loves for ever.

Suruman, I think will appears, but with another actor too.

Some actors could be returning in other roles entirely (hint hint)

I certainly Hoep that Cristopher Lee will do his brilliant Sauman again ..

It's rumoured that James Mcavoy will be doing Bilbo..

I'd have to agree with you Sean...I thought Hugo Weaving was awesome as Elrond, and PJ and GDT better bring him back!

You´re right!

Is important Hugo Weavings to appear in the film, because, if he does not, make no sense Gandalf, Bilbo and the dwarfs pass through Imladris. :D

A Golden Bearn?

Could this perhaps be a Golden Bear? a Golden Bean? a Golden Bairn(=Child)?

I hate Orlando Bloom in other movies, btu I thought he was good in LOTR.

A Golden Bearn-ie Baby?

I hate Orlando Bloom in LotR. Bloody pansy Elf show-off. In fact, I hate all Elves in LotR.

Except Liv Tyler.

Bloody people can't spell

Anyway, they don't need to have the same actors that appeared in LotR, they need ones that look, what, 51, 61 years younger...
