I was doing some research for my campaign and I couldn't find the answer…. Who is the Lord of the Blue Mountains at the time of the War of the Ring? I'm hoping someone can help me with this. |

It doesn't say in the book, but in lord of the rings online Dwalin is the steward of Thorin'a hall (the blue mountains). |

I don't think it was ever mentioned, unless maybe in Unfinished Tales. |

Yep, I've searched too and nothing appeared... I think that you'll have to stick with the LOTRO's version looool |

Here's what I found on Tolkien gateway http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Thorin's_Halls After Thorin's death, his cousin Dáin II Ironfoot of the Iron Hills became king of Durin's folk; and when news reached Durin's folk in the Ered Luin that Erebor was retaken, it is believed that most of them moved to the Lonely Mountain. therefore, Thorin's Halls became a sub-realm of Durin's folk. |

I fund the same thing. But even a sub realm needs a ruler. I let my friend who plays the dwarves in the campaign invent his own lord. |

Dwarf King is still a pretty decent profile... |
