God I love the Aussie dollar at the moment, the War of the Ring rulebook retails here for 96 bucks but I just bought it from Wayland plus the Battlehosts book plus the new painty thing and cutting mat for just under 95 bucks delivered! Woo Hoo

Don't ask me why I bought the paint station and cutting mat, it was an impulse buy, dirt cheap compared with what it retails for over here. I've never understood GW's Aussie pricing, even when our exchange rate was garbage we were still paying way too much compared with other countries, except those poor buggers in NZ, they always get the raw end of the deal currency wise :lol:

For all you car lovers out there, what do you think of the new Nissan GT-R? I've never really been into ricers, I'm more into muscle or euro, but I was taken for a drive in one on the weekend and I have to say that car is effing amazing!!! Ugly as sin but god it's fast and sticks to the road like it's on rails!

ONE problem with the car, the steering wheel's on the wrong side! :shock:

Nissan GT-R is nice

. Myself, on paper it seems like one of the best value for money supercars you can get.

After having been in it and for only AU$180,000ish I'm pretty convinced of that too. The guy who owns it is a car dealer and he's owned Ferrari's, Porsches, Lambo's etc and he reckons they've got nothing on the GT-R in terms of handling, you basically point and shoot with this thing, it's got 4 wheel traction control so it sticks to the road like glue. Plus it's the first time I've been in a car that pins you in the seat when you floor it!

Pity you're not around Sydney, I don't play the game yet but I just bought the WOTR rulebook and I'm planning to start an Angmar army, yes I have a penchant for picking the more difficult to play armies, I also started a Rohan army that went nowhere, but I like the look of the Angmar nasties. Who's your team and you better not say Collingwood!!! :-X

Yeah lost ablett but we'll get him when we play gold coast, he won't come out of that lightly. Swans eh should have been a no brainer since your up there. Hate the hawks ever since 08' grand final. A dark day for the cats.

Yeah when you got 8 teams down here you'd expect them to have some talent. Where do you guys reckon gold coast will finish up this year?

Hard to say, they've got Ablett but he only looked good because his team made him look good, I don't think they'll do that well, it'll take time for them to get used to Abletts style of play I reckon.
