Here's what I was going to enter in to the conversion category. It is a Mines of Moria plastic cave troll converted to be a hill troll. I hope to get burhdur eventually, and then this guy will fit in with him nicely. Some of you might have seen him already as I decided to enter him into TLA's misty mountains comp.
Enough chit-chat, onto the pictures. (If you want more photo's ask, as I have lots because I'm hoping to do an article on him. I'm going to wait till the sites back to being fully functionality before I submit it, so it might be a little while though....)

Any comments (or criticisms) are appreciated. :)
(The one I would change now would be to make the club thicker and larger, which I might end up doing sometime as I would just have to sculpt over the existing stuff.)

Very nicely done, great way to make use of a plastic cave troll.

Thanks. I got a second MoM set (and some other stuff) with a big lot. But seeing as I already had the MoM set I decided rather then just tossing on the spear hand and having one troll with spear and one with club, (but otherwise exactly the same) I would convert this one into a hill troll. I was also looking for a project to stretch my sculpting skills, and something that might give me a chance in the awards.

Nice conversion. I like the ramshackle look of his armor. The only thing I would add is an arrow sticking our of the lower shoulder to explain why he's standing the way he is.

Keep up the good work!

:dizzy: I was actually planning on adding an arrow or two. Thanks for reminding me! Now, to get those fiddly flights right......
