Just bought the Battlehost book at a used book store. Inside they show different color schemes for some of the armies of the Lord of the Rings. For instance, the warriors of the dead they have painted as a Warrior of Carn Dum, in reds and browns. Or as Ghosts of Angmar with pale white with only brown hues.

Haradrim they show as part of the Golden Army in royal blues and purples or as Host of Karna in yellow and brown.

Never plan to play War of the Ring or this expansion, but it is definitely worth it for ideas on alternate paint schemes.

There are a few good conversions in it, too. I've kept mine all these years for the different colour schemes and conversions. I've never regretted keeping the books. If anything, I can put them against the north wall to keep out the cold.

If you get a chance to get War of the Ring for a good price, it's got some awesome terrain in the scenarios section.
