Well the question is in the title, i have never done it before, and i don't have a clue what to do. So if someone could please tell me what i can can't strip (aka metal or plastics), what i need, where to get it, what to do, it would be very helpful. Thanks in Advance. |

Well, use the search function and find one of these posts, then read them. http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17586&highlight=stripping http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17549&highlight=stripping http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16622&highlight=stripping http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15475&highlight=stripping http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15172&highlight=stripping http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12716&highlight=stripping http://www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12716&highlight=stripping There are still more posts about it if you search, I just linked to the ones that seemed to be the most helpful/had the most replies. That should probably help. |

Toothpaste (the grittier the better), Dettol, Simple Green and the like are all safe and very good. |

I asked the same thing in a thread a while ago, I didn't get much response but I think that it was said that it would work. I think it might just be a thing to try out yourself on a test mini to see if it works.

As far as I know it works, but if there is superglue that is stained with paint, you can;t get that off using paint-removal met |

Yes, so anyway i tried using something in my garage that was STRONGER than Meths, i put Hama and a WOMT (1 metal, 1 plastic). After 3 hours Hama was totally cleaned, just needed a wash, but the WOMT had dissovled bar a small lump of plastic that did not in any way resemble a warrior in full metal armour. I'm going to use Dettol i think, that video was pretty convincing. |

Prurple Power from Wal Mart works wonders on metal and plastic figures. Doesn't harm either and removes paint in 24 hours |

Store brand antiseptic (neat) also works quite well. I've got some which is about a year old and it still strips the paint off most minis after a day of soaking. |
