Post subject: | Help with Green Stuff |
I have a normal goblin warrior with sword and shield, and I wanted to make the sword kind of like the Isengard Uruk sword, but have more of a curved hook instead. No matter what I do, I can't get the green stuff to shape right. Does anyone have something I could try? |

Try cutting the sword out of plasticard. |

Use ProCreate. The big gun sculptor(s) use it a lot, apparently it gives you nice solid edges and sets much harder than Green stuff. can't say I've tried it but I take it as gospel truth from someone more experienced. |

That should be easy enough with Greenstuff. What exactly is the problem? Is the tip drooping under its own weight? Are you having trouble creating the shape itself? What tools are you using? the more info you give us, the better answer you'll receive. |

If you use more of the blue stuff in the mix the green stuff becomes more solid... |

You can also try drilling a hole & putting some staple wire in to build a frame you can sculpt onto. |

I made a couple of swords today. I used a straight bit from a paper clip cut off with wire cutters and bent it in to shape. Then added green stuff. If the green stuff is too soft, then just leave it for 10 or 20mins and it'll be more workable. |

Thanks for the help . My main problem was getting the green stuff to keep it's shape. |
