On the OOP Haradrim assasin miniature just below the assasins left hand there is something that looks like part of his cloak but also looks like it could be a sheath for his dagger - looked on the games workshop website and they have just painted it white which to me doesn't look right - can anybody shed any light on what this part of the model is lol... Oh yeh and Happy New Year everyone!!!! |

This guy: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... rod1090085 I painted the bit like it was a seconded dagger because it has a curve like the other one and don't they have two hand weapons? And a happy new year to you to! Cyndra the Grey |

Yep thats the guy ! many thanks a second dagger it shall be. Hmm ok while we're on the subject of this guy - i've painted him up now apart from the silver / gold swirling pattern on the bottom of his cloak and round his hood which i'm not worried about painting but am not sure weather or not he'll look right with it done ....any thoughts ( difficult to answer i know without seeing the miniature painted but i haven't worked out how to upload pics yet - he's painted exactly the same as the GW one. |

Glad to help. As for weathering, try painting up another model with the same sort of scheme and try it on him (if you can be bothered). I'm suggesting this because there is nothing worse than screwing up your fav model at the last stage with some dodgy weathering (i'm not trying to imply anything about your weathering skills here) and I should know, it's happened to me As for uploading try uploading to photobucket or imageshack, copy the IMG code and just paste it in your post, simple as that. |
