Looking for people's views on the different movement/basing trays out there. I have used GWs (for 8 inf /2 mounted) but have a load more to get. I have seen both mdf and resin on ebay, including a neat tray that would base a whole infantry box. Just looking for opinions. Anyone know of a supplier that would do custom trays for the various artillery pieces ? thx |

I bought a couple from totallysysemscenic. They have resin bases designed for some of the artillery along with the standard 2 and 8 slot ones. They seem to be good (obviously they dont come painted). |

I was very lucky, cause I could buy a lot of infantry MT for cheap. But I didn't have enough infMT, so I made some. I used hard paper. I don't know its name in English. Its grey, and its 1 mm thick. I used 2 layers, I cut wholes, so it works perfectly. |

Card stock? Cardboard? Those are the only two I can think of, but it doesn't look like either of those was what you used. Nice homemade tray, by the way. |

http://www.warbases.co.uk/ This is the best by far. You can contact the guy who makes them to customize your own base. |

Sorry for hijacking, but does anyone have tips on how to cut homemade trays straight. Mine always get 1-2 mm deviations, which make a huge misalignment when you put six trays with the same error next to each other . |

Well, I dont know how do you cut, but try to do perfect job. Measure with ruler exactly, then cut it whit a knife next to a metal ruler. This is my method. |
