I've just dug out my minis and have the urge to paint something. My Aragorn the King mini is one of the few that was primed and ready to go. Unfortunately, I could never quite figure out his colour scheme. Is his tabard black, navy blue or neither? Photos from GW books and the film don't help much.

His tabard and the barding on his horse are Black. It looks like straight black highlighted up to Codex Grey to me. The back of his cloak is also black but the inside is red.

Thanks very much, mate. I went for a paint wash with a darker grey, followed by a very slight drybrush of the grey Foundation paint then a Badab Black wash. He's looking great, if I do say so myself.
