How to put together the Great Beast of Gorgoroth

I know what a bad rep the Great Beast of Gorgoroth has regarding its finecast misalignment problems, and rightly so, but I made a video to show that it isn't as daunting as some perhaps think to get this sorted and looking good. The video is a bit slow and methodical (read boring) and aimed at beginners, but if just one person finds it helpful then I will have succeeded.

Part 1 goes over the tools required, box contents, and beast assembly.

A great idea and will definitely be useful for lots of people i'm sure. Not that I'll ever need it lol ( don't get me wrong its not that i am a superstar and i can build my own because i can't! the beast in Daves video is mine

I'm one of those people. I dont really use greenstuff that often and when I do I hate it

. With the reputation of the Great Beast I was really hesitant to get one. Now I feel more confident to tackle those defects if it ever shows up again. Thanks!

I fortunately got a good version, 10minutes of heating up and it was fine.

You were heating it for 10 minutes? What were you using to do that?
Thanks for the encouraging comments chaps. It's good to know that it was worth taking a long time to say, as old Treebeard would say.

Imagine buying anything else that you had to fix before use? Guys, it is a bit ridiculous. Anyway, good luck UKFB and I will not be getting one of these unless GW manage to fix FailCost and wise up about pricing.

Just a bump to say part two is online now. The link is in the first post. Those who get that far will notice an editing error about one minute from the end, but I'm not about to wait another 20 hours to re-upload it! Part 3 will be up in a couple of days.

Heh, you're not the only one, Kev. I had planned to paint my two up by month's end. Here we are, 18 days in and I've only got the flash and mold lines done. Just on the Beasts, not even on the Orcs!

I really don't have the patience to swap the spear, pin the orcs and putty that bow end.
I will give it a try though, afterwards I always wish I did spend some more time on the assembly.
