Is there a colour scheme that you would recommend for the new Legolas (mines of moria) version?

I use snakebite leather for the basecoat, then progressively mix yellow or a yellowish brown for the following layers  doesn't turn out too bad, might help you out?

I agree with Matt. I used Snakebite Leather as basecoat and lightened that up with Bleached Bone. Last highlights were set with pure Bleached Bone (You can see my Legolas at the end of the first page of my WIP if you're interested) |
