I have just got some iron guard dwarves in finecast. I want to know wether the normal GW plastic cutters work well on finecast, or is there a better way.

Absolutely fine, but a curved scalpel is essential for the fine detail and tidying up.

I use cutters, a craft-knife, and a file

A razor saw will work best.

Resin is more brittle than plastic. Cutters /clippers can crush the resin and make filing the blemishes harder. Fine cast is soft the razor saws will let you trim much closer. Much less filing and sanding. Try emery boards for sanding and always wear a mask and gloves.

Btw how good is their quality? I have 2 packs and every single one had some pretty big problems. Missing helmet horns, droopy weapons things like that
