Hi y'all, I've been expanding my Elven army quite a bit recently, but with the plastic High Elves, the poses start to get boring with the few variations. I was thinking of lowering the sword arm on a few to look like they're preparing to charge, and also twist it a little to look like they're swinging the sword round on some. Same with the archers, just lower the bow arm. Those I've started work on, but I want to further expand my army with different variations What other conversion ideas are there? Have you guys done some on High Elves or seen some good ones about? Thanks for any help guys, it would be greatly appreciated |

You could convert some to high elf cavalry? or do a head swap on one of them or sculpt a new head to make a captain look on my WIP I've got a captain that I made if that's any help. |

I really like this conversion Attachment: high elf conversion-final.jpg it is created by using the archer and removing the arm with bow, then removing the blade and arm form the elf with the sword, gluing it onto the archer's body, you will need to sculpt the shoulder and rest of the arm with green stuff |

That looks good, and could be a great way to model dismounted Rivendell knights. |

It's been tried a lot, but they tend to suffer from that shrugged shoulders look. I've rarely seen it done well, but when it is it looks fantastic. Pity they never did a Last Alliance supplement. |

The Rivendell Knights come with some extra weapons and stuff. You could use their lances as spears to make some different high elf spearmen. You just have to make a clean cut at the shoulder and glue it on. But that's only if you want to spend the money on Rivendell Knights ... |
