I'm considering possibilities for a mounted Dunedain Hero from the time of the Fall of Arnor a thousand years before the WOTR and the old TTT era unarmoured Theoden from the Warg Attack box struck me as particularly suitable - I can just sculpt on a hood, lengthen the beard and maybe do a weapon swap and it would work well as a new character.


However, I'd like a foot counterpart but can't find one online. Was there ever a foot counterpart made for this mounted Theoden that does not have armour?

I've never considered this before, but no, there isn't an unarmoured Theoden on foot. That's very odd - I'm very surprised the mini was never made!

Ack, bummer. I think it would make a great custom hero (a historical Dunedain Chieftan) using Arathorn's profile mounted on a horse. Just sculpt on a hood, alter the face slightly (lengthen the beard or give him the full Blackbeard's beard treatment if its supposed to represent Arathorn himself) and swap Theoden's sword.
