I have a multi-part question but as the last one is about converting I'll post here.

I don't have the Kingdomd of Men book (I did ask Santa but he got me the Fate of the Witch King instead so no complaints) but I believe that a warrior of rohan on foot with bow is the same points as an outrider on foot. Even though the outrider has a better shoot and special rules. Is this correct?

If so does anyone bother playing WOR with bows or does everyone play them as outriders?

Now for the converting question, I know some people are more strict about proxies than others, so what is the difference between the models and I do i convert a WOR with bow to an outrider on foot?

Yes they are exactly the same pts cost but outriders have better stats.

In terms of model the most distinct part of the outriders are the horse hair plumes on their helms.

The only real advantage of the WOR having bows is because they have extra wargear options. However, if you intend to just have them use bows, then Outriders are superior.

That's exactly what I'm doing at the moment.
I'm adding green stuff to half of my WoR with bows so they resemble outriders.
