I recently got a sprue of Rangers of Middle Earth and I quite like these folks. Maybe I will modify the spear heads a bit, but thats it  THough, I really don't like the colour scheme GW used for them, do you have alternative ones? I'm looking for something darker, maybe with a touch of autumn.. I wouldn't mind to make them "rangers of the north" either. It would be great if you had some photos for me, I couldn't find too much around the web

I'm keeping an eye on this thread, I wonder what suggestions will pop up. I recently bought a sprue as well and plan on using some Rangers in my next game, so I'll have to paint them. Just as you, I don't like the GW colour scheme and I'm thinking of using different shades of green and brown, preferably dark tones. |

I find these schemes quite useful when I need some inspiration for elves and rangers. |
