there is milliput, its similar to green stuff as it is an epoxy mixture, it's a much easier to sand when dry. I've found it in a few hobby store in my area

Make a mix of green stuff and Milliput, has benefits of both then Easy to sculpt and holds details better than pure milliput.

If I may ask, what is the purpose of hunting down an alternative to green stuff?

Sometimes it can be difficult to work with, it's generally too firm and hard to get sharp edges and straight lines with.

Milliput can be manipulated with water to change the consistency as you sculpt. Works well with smooth tools and can be sanded flat. However it can't hold fine detail as it will crumble.

A mix of both has the benefit of both, the added green stuff makes the millipit a bit firmer meaning it can hold details whilst still being manipulated with water

I had troubles with batches of Green Stuff, especially citadel sticks, from one to the next they were often not equal blue/yellow. When I switched to separate tubes (I got in the US, not sure the exact brand ATM) of yellow and blue I found it worked a lot better, and I had more control over getting my mix right and got more for my money.
I have seen different grades of milput used for things and some people love it and procreate has been mentioned by a few sculptors. Trying out most of them would not hurt as at worst it can still be used for base form and armatures of a model so no harm in buying one to try out.

I have used Aves Apoxie Sculpt. This is in two tubes, one is a off white the other grey, mixes a sort of khaki color. It is very oily, water does work off like a white foamy slick feel to it and you can almost work it like it is clay. It has a modest work time, like 2 hours. Hardens to rock like hardness. Con: it doesn't adhere too well to it's cured self, it will do it, but as I said the slick feel when wet and oily also just makes it tough to get it to tack. So good as base epoxy on armatures and for press molds. Green stuff works on this stuff once cured and so you can do details on a apoxie sculpt piece with it. Unlike green stuff it is tough to cut away at to fix a bad area, it is very dense. it can be done but not as easy as with GS.

Yeah I have trouble with the conjoined blue and greenstuff, my collection of it is pretty old now so where it's joined together has started to harden meaning I have to cut it away,
