Hi everyone, I've been browsing this site for quite a while, but just found no need to join. But here I am now. I started the hobby when the Two Towers starter set was released, and have been painting ever since. I'm also active on http://www.thepalantir.org, and also TLA until the site went down. I really like the friendly atmosphere of this forum and hopefully I can bring fun times with my contributions. |

Welcome to the One-Ring Lord of Edoras. I only started playing three and a half years ago. What was in the Two Towers starter set? |

Thanks! Guess I'll wait for the new site before uploading my gallery. General Elessar wrote: What was in the Two Towers starter set? 12 Riders of Rohan, 20 Uruk-hai, rulebook and ruins. |

Welcome to the One-Ring! Your story's a common one - people on other sites wandering in the wilderness, and then in the great downfall of TLA realising that OR is truly the home of LotR.... Ignore my ramblings, I'm a bit insane. |

Hey, welcome! I remember you from the Palantir indeed. I myself was an active member as well when the Palantir was in his flourishing days (Sleepybear). Shame the site became pretty inactive. Anyways, nice to see you've joined this site! |

Welcome to the OR! I too am a fairly active member on thepalantir, but I have only been only a memeber for about ten months, but I saw a lot of old posts long before I actually joined, so I know who most of the peaple are. The same goes for the OR. |

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I look forward to being here often. Dannis wrote: I remember you from the Palantir indeed. We were in the Rohan alliance competitions!! The allegiances quickly disappeared after you left though... |

I entered some of the competitions indeed, but it all these events were unfortunately pretty close to the 'downfall' of the Palantir though iirc, I returned some times but to my regret the site went downhill after Krahl left, even though Taliesin (that was the name iirc) did a magnificent job in maintaining the site.. Anyways, good to see you still hanging around in the hobby! |

Hi, and welcome - I have to wonder though, what exactly are you doing prominently wielding a URL in your signature? *Recalls Vernon Getzler all too vividly* |
