Hi Everyone,
As a newbie , I would like to say "hello" to all members of this great community.
I am a great fan of Tolkien's books from Poland and I collect LotR and Hobbit figures from GW. I like to paint them and build different dioramas and that's my favorite hobby (instead of playing regular games and battles).

Here are just few snapshots of my completed jobs as intro

I am sure, your posts , comments, WIPs or tutorials will be very helpful for me with full of new inspirations.

Happy New Year !!!

Mae govannen, Mellon!

I too am a painter with little interest in gaming. It's great to have another diorama maker on board - there are plenty of very talented people here already and it's obvious from your work that you'll fit in seamlessly! Fantastic work there, I especially like your Shire scene. I look forward to seeing more from you 8)

Greetings.
I am like you, just for the hobby side. Your work looks nice and I will like to see a WIP thread so we can give some pointers to get you improving.
Your photography is first rate by the way, maybe you can give me some tips.

Thanks Gandalf :)
For your info, I have just started WIP thread with my recent projects.
About photography...happy to hear you like them :)

My tips are:
1. Always use good sources of lights - more than 1 (for example I have 3 special photo bulbs on tripod stands with very bright and natural daylight 5500k temperature)
2. Use camera on tripod for steady shot (sharpness !)
3. White balance in camera is set for 5400K-5500K temperature same as my bulbs are for good color reproduction ...
4. Use contrast background thanks to which colors are more "vivid" and better visible
I hope these helps somehow :)
