Sounds like they need a burglar-hobbit :)

The free might point per turn makes him ridiculously over powered. It pretty much negates the chance of him not rolling a 6 to win the fight, and allows him to heroic strike when he has. Games have to be balanced and risk is all part of the strategy, which makes the game challenging and fun.

I'd be quite up for this, particularly given your location (I'm in Twickenham), not quite sure what you're proposing though, is this a tournament? A special scenario at another tournament?

I'm also inclined to agree with Bilbo, 50 points extra for 2 rules that essentially negate the only 2 weaknesses of the beast seems like quite the bargain! However, it's obviously intended as a one-off bit of fun rather than a revision to the rules so doesn't matter too much.

Think I've got a list in mind that could have a pop at the beasty....

This will be a event for individual challengers, held during August/September, with several events being held on the weekends, probably Saturday.

I still need to work out a few final details of the scenario and run a few tests just to check on the details and how difficult the scenario will be.

I agree that the DotAW may be overpowered, but I want it to present a challenge.

Armies to fight the DotAW can be from any faction, Good or Evil and 500 points.

Watch this post for future details.
