I also need to make a 500 point force. I can use pretty much all models from Eregion & Rivendell, Durin's Folk, Arnor & Numenor as well as Gwaihir.

Who are the Guard protecting in the dwarf army?

I'd always use Arvedui over Malbeth, especially for sub-1000 point games.

Put Floi with the archers, keep Malbeth in list 2.

@Marsbar: Thanks. That was obvious and a bit silly of me.
@Honba: The Gift of Foresight affects all friendly models within 6". Stick Malbeth behind my battle line of Dwarves backed up by Arnorians and I'll have a tough defensive wall the doesn't die 1/3 of the time. As for courage I think Balin will be able to handle it. With the re-rolls of courage and 3 will he'll hopefully be able to hold some warriors in place. Then we have Arathorn & Malbeth who aren't too cowardly.
