I saw you post this earlier. I'd encourage you to play test it before TOS. In my opinion it will struggle but you could certainly prove me wrong

I think Anduril is bit overpriced so you might not want to take it, or take the King Elessar version of Aragorn +1D is worth the points and it allows you to take an armoured horse. On that note you might want to put all your heroes on horses (if the points allow)

the points are 600 dead on and im using it as a themed army rather than competitive but they can still hold themselves in a fight

I'd think about taking horses instead of Anduril. If you do so you also can take the heavy armours and elven bows for the twins. Or you could take the grey company Aragorn, he cant take a horse but his banner effect could be really helpful.

Totally agree fluff is key. My advice is always in an attempt to combine fluff with efficiency

I mean this kindly, but it applies to the other thread you posted as well- if you don't want advice on your list, why are you posting it? :)

If you want advice you should write what's so fluffy about it :P What I mean is, if you don't want something like Anduril to be changed than tell us. And if you don't want to change anything, tell us, what you want us to do (tactical advises, our opoinion how the army will do against others...)

(I think the mighty Quinn was just sharing the army, he hasn't asked for advice as its themed :) )

I'd definitely agree that if you can go for Ellesar for the defence and anduril included, then it's a great choice. Also, definitely pick heavy armour over bows for the twins :)

I learnt at Stockport that playing as all hero is incredibly fun and will be making a few "fluff" lists like yourself soon!

well basically the fluff is that the blade has been reforged and brought forward to the heir of isildur but aragorn hasn't fully accepted he is no longer the ranger he once was so he has gone to raise the army of the dead and his friends and siblings help him in this task so that's the fluff. oh and tactical advice would be great but just lock the characters in place but swap upgrades around but just keep anduril and aragorns bow
  :aragorn: :legolas: :gimli: also i don't know about the heavy armour because the unbreakable bond rule

I would ditto the others and drop Aunduril to put the heroes on horses, you'll notice a huge difference in their killing power and it'll be very useful for objective games that require speed.
But if you want to keep it I'd say heavy armour on the twins, and keep legolas' elven cloak as he'll be the one that'll need it the most. :)

It is the reason people suggest removing it us the point cost. I wish GW would lower how expensive it is
