What is a good spellcaster to for each army specific:
- Wood Elves (LOTR) - Durins Folk (LOTR) - Minas Tirith (LOTR)

In general terms I'd recommend the new Galadriel from the white counsel for the wood elves. She's pretty cheap and her permanent blinding light makes her a good support for shooting or advancing under fire with wood elves. Radagast for Durin's Folk because his panic stead and terrifying aura are good for dealing with cavalry and horde armies. His special rules also make him useful in dealing with shaman hiding behind a line. For Minis Tirith I'd say Saruman the white on horse or Saruman the wise. Both are good for offense, stopping monsters/shaman, holding off Nazgul, and supporting a low tier hero-high number troop spam.

Yep, I think those are all spot on. A lot of people like the wood elf storm callers too but honestly I've never loved them and I think I'd always take caster Galadriel is I was going to take a WE caster to lead a warband.
