Hey guys,

I'm trying to complete complete an Angmar army, since a lot of my Mordor force is transferable. I have nearly two dozen orc warriors and 3 spectres at my disposable. I Also have an orc captain and the Witch King on a fell beast at my disposal. Which other heroes would you guys recommend for 500-800pt lists? I'm considering a Barrow-wight (Because Paralyse sounds like a nasty spell to have at disposal against heroes), a Shade (Because Chill Aura is filthy), and Buhrdur. Obviously, any combination will take up a lot of points. What do you guys recommend? Are a shade and a barrow-wight worth their points?

Barrow-wights can cause a huge problem for enemy Heroes, I usually pair them with the Witch-king who can use Sap Will first so that the Hero can't resist against Paralyse and then usually go for a 2 dice cast (although it may be worth using more sometimes). The danger with Barrow-wights is that they can either be really effective or do almost nothing, they are rarely average.

Shades are very effective although watch out for sorcerous blast moving them out of range.

I fielded the Witchking on fellbeast, Buhrdur and a shade together with some spectres and lots of orcs on a tournament. Didn't do that well, but didn't do that bad either. I always have the feeling that the lack of might is holding the Angmar list a bit down.
But still a fun and different army to play with and against .
