I love the new Morgul Knights and would like to get some. Since there can only be up to four companies in a formation, I thought I would get 2 formations of 3 companies. I don't like "wasting" minis by not using them. Are three-company cavalry formations effective?
(P.S. I'll probably be fighting dwarves or goblins with a Balrog/dragon)

It matters how good the calvary is! I dont have my book, but if you really like the models and you dont have any other calvary you can take two formations of four

I would take four companies, but I'm a big fan of large formations.

im fielding 4 companies in my formation with a captain and banner bearer. it's getting field tested tomorrow. i think perhaps 3 would do but i wanted some extra to soak up shooting casualties. going to be running a company of 6 formations of warg riders in unison (i love cavalry) so we'll see how they do.
