If you're going by the movie, get a box of Galadhrim warriors, and Haldir. There are two Haldir models and profiles. The oldest profile gets 2 shots with a bow. The newer one is "defender of Helm's Deep", which gets only one shot, but has a different special rule. The profile for the former is in the One Ring book, the profile for the latter is in White Dwarf issue 355.

How about some Ents? You know when the Uruk-hai run into the forest and all get killed by the Ents (they were actually Huorns but whatever).

ents? i'm building helmsdeep, no isengard :) ents are quite expensive, i prefer cutting down some trees, and call them ents.

In the film (it might only be the extended version, I'm not sure), when Gandalf brings Eomer and the Riders of Rohan all the Uruk-hai run away. They all run into Fangorn Forest and are killed by the Ents/Huorns. A similar thing happens in the books.

for the love of odin!!! get the extended edition!! also yes get some ents. would be good for re-enactment...but then again on second thought just buy loads of terrain tree's and do them up abit. cheaper and more true to the film/book. also i would also say galadrim not only because they look far better than the last alliance but also they look more like the ones from helms deep. but funny enough in the books the elves werent in helms deep. they went off to try take some tower cant remember which one. but yeah some reason peter jackson wanted it there so he put it there.

Dol Guldor? I think that was long before the Battle of Helm's Deep.

akul-ak is right, Sauron puts Dol Guldur back into operation during the War of the Ring to attack Lothlorien and Mirkwood. You may be thinking of the Necromancer thing at the same time as The Hobbit.

yeah thats it. haldir and his elves never showed at helms deep apparently. but they went to go crush dol goldur..for the second time!! lol. first time was in "the hobbit" when the order of wizards took on the necromancer. it is a pity tolkein didnt include that story in with the hobbit. i know its not crucial to the story...but it would have been a nice sidestory you know? although apparently its in the book "the lost tales" will have to pick that up soon. although if you think about it. if aragorn had slain grima would there have even been a helms deep? and you should have some common sense to block a damn drain -_-. fair enough its the first time explosive devises were used..but come-on..seriously...and also it never says why the dwarfs never went to help out...through the ENTIRE quest. or did they? havnt finished the book so wouldnt know from there.

The Dwarves, the ones in Erebor anyways, were too busy defending their own homes.
