So I started my army with a pack of 24 rangers of middle earth and am a bit confused. Which team do they belong to?

This is from the Games Workshop website:
Quote:
There are many Rangers in Middle-earth, from the Rangers of Arnor in the north, to the Rangers of Gondor in the south. The Rangers of Arnor are grim of face and worn as weathered rocks, having fought against the legions of the Witch King for many years. After the fall of Fornost, these Rangers took to patrolling the lands of Eriador, holding the servants of Sauron at bay wherever they could, and protecting the free people of Middle-earth.

Meanwhile, far to the south, the finest warriors of Minas Tirith are recruited into the Ranger cadres that patrol the borders of Ithilien - a steep and heavily forested region that is no place for shieldwalls and charging knights. As such, the skills of a Ranger are that of forestcraft and archery, the ability to stalk prey without sound before striking with uncanny precision. With surprise on their side a dozen Rangers can slaughter a much more numerous foe.

Does this mean that I can use them in Arnor or Minas Tirith?

They can be used as Rangers of Arnor, Rangers of Gondor or Blackroot value Archers. So yes, Arnor, Minas Tirith or Fiefdoms.

I suggest you buy the kingdoms of men sourcebook; it includes all the profiles, armylists, scenarios and how to build army's.
