500pt lothlorien tournament force

So my local GW is having a tournament this weekend using the new(ish) system at 500pts.
I used this force at the last tournament they had, using warbands, and I won 2/3 games.(the one I lost was by one kill/ran out of time :-X

)
So I'm just wondering if this list can use some improvements. I don't care much for wood elf/galadhrim themeness it just has to be effective.

Haldir-armor/bow
8 wood elves with bow.
2 galadhrim warriors with bow.

Rumil.
5 guards of the galadhrim court.
4 wood elves with spear/throwing daggers

Stormcaller.
8 galadhrim warriors with spear/shield
2 wood elf warriors with throwing daggers

7might, 32 models, 10+2+6throwing daggers
Plenty of f6 to go around, pike support, good ranged attaks, decent model count for elves, many shielding capable models.
500 pts exactly

I only have 1 box of wood elves, hence the two galadhrim with bow.

Thoughts? :roll:

good list, the only thing I'd change is to drop the spears of the galadrim and give them to the wood elves with bows.

I would if I had the time, but the store is very strict on WYSIWYG so I can't just say that they are using spears:(

Well I used this trusty list and.......got my butt kicked. I won 1/3 games. First game I lost was a reconnetoire game against a fully upgraded mumak and got squished thanks to aving no hard hitting units. 3rd game I lost because I got ansy and deployed rumil badly, he got immobilized and then eaten by a easterling cpt, his warband slowly followed due to being trapped.
Any ideas on what I could have done against the mumak with this army?
Bugger, oh well, I can't wait till next time!!! Though maybe I'll change the list...

If you just wanted a "deal with a Mumak" list, dwarves with Dain are probably your best bet. But with elves I can't think of a better list than what you have. It's about timing. GGC are probably your best bet to stopping a Mumak charge if you need to hold one off: charge it on priority and shield. Rumil with backup is your best bet if you want to kill it, though this is where a few elf blades come in handy.

A Mumak with full upgrades can't leave much in the way of other troops, with Reconnoitre that has to be in your favour if you can keep the Mumak occupied.

The problem was that as soon as I got into combat giant rocks fell from the sky and killed a whole bunch of guys in the combat, I still won the combat but a lost heroic move saw my plans in ruins.(it also didnt help that I could not roll above a three for priority) Overall I just kind of Screwed up a LOT during the game and didn't take my time. Next time I face it I'll be more patient.
