Would love to get some advice on an 800 point army from the Moria / Angmar Army please? I have just about every piece from each army so please be creative to help me put together a variety of army lists. Thank you in advance x

Well really depends on what you have in mind. Moria tends to be focused like on synergy, like using war drums, shamans, grobolg, etc and then lots of foot troops, whereas angmar is mostly just big hitters and orcs.

So what units did you want to end up using? There really are too many options from both lists for me to say yes use this haha

Do you have any Gundabad blackshields?
I usually use a base of 455pts like this then I fill up the remaining slots with monsters, cavalry, heroes, etc
groblog
5blackshield
5gobos spear

gobo shaman
5blackshield

Considering spearmen now have to user their own stength, I think its better to either support Blackshields with other blackshields, and Goblins with other Goblins.

@Legolas, if you are not bothered abou theme, and want to mix them together I think you should include these things:

Your core troops should be mainly from either Moria or Angmar, don't mix many Orcs and Goblins. I recomend a goblin army you can go all generic or blackshields or prowlers. You should also take several Sha,ans, Groblog and/or durburz and probably drums/drummers. You will also want a Shade. Buhrdur is nice, and you could do with another Troll or two as well, and then you'll want Spectres and/or Barrow-wights in small numbers. Possibly a Bat Swarm too.

All sounding good, thank you, would you use borrow-whites much? And would you still use Spectres against Dwarves?

Barrow-Wights are something I wanted to use, but never got round to it, I wouldn't use many of them mind you, but I've seen reports were they do really well, jusk keep him hidden.

As for Spectres vs Dwarves, yes. Firstly, do not pull the dwarves into combat with your spectres, pull them towards monsters and stuff. For their courage, you drum/drummers will lower the courage, you could also take a Wraith (maybe ally a budget one from mordor), to lower it further.

I think Shade is a necessity for any Angmar army! 8)

A Balrog is good also if you have other characters of low points

In 800pts? Hell no, I would rather take 400pts of trolls or a mix of angmar stuff. The Balrog (i find) is only effective in very large games of 1000pts+

Barrow-wights are well worth taking, they are such a pain in the butt because they can paralyse any hero who has little will. Combine them with a wraith like the dwimmerlaik and the enemy heroes are toast.
