Is a Dol Amroth force going to be a competitive army? I'll mostly be playing a Harad army(with Mumakil) and a MInus Morgul army. I'll use the blackroot vale for archers. SHould I branch out into the other fiefdoms? I'd like to avoid a Minis Tirith army if possible. There is something so appealing about those Swan Knights.

Swan Knights are pretty gooc davalry, Forlong is a pretty jokes hero to use because what you get for 60pts is so... weird (in good ways), the axemen of lossarnach and the clansmen are also pretty boss, as are the pike bearers. All in all yes they are a good army, it's just that they are all metal :/

So would a warband with Forlong and Angbor with their clansmen be a good shock troop?

clansmen die like toy soldiers.

I'd be looking for
Imrahil mounted
Some mounted knights
Forlong mounted
Pike block

Captains on foot
Archers or pike block

Forlong leading axe men are ok especially when supported and using two handers , I've got 6 including forlong and their effective. AoTd are worth taking at 750 points games not only are the effective but also quite a distraction . Without doubt thought prince imrahil is amazing he never fails, a must if your considering building a fiefdoms army
