I saw their profile they seem good but a little expensive but they do have multi attacks. Thoughts anyone? Are these guys worth putting in an army? |

I have never seen them in any army and that's something that shows they are not really good. Fight 3 is disappointing and they make you pay for an elven cloak and this is the only reason that you should use them imho. I would take two morannons or really a warg rider instead of them any day of the week. Black guard of barad dur is actually both more effective imho and cheaper. |

Too expensive. I'd rather have 2 hunter orcs and lose the elven cloak than have 1 stalker. Cool models but would never use them. |

yeah unfortunately they are way overcosted for what they can do. The elven cloak is barely helpful since they are close combat units and Fight 3 means that Corsair Reavers will do better at 2/3rds the price. Too many better options out there to consider them. |

They were good before really cheap two-attack models became readily available. Hunter orcs are half the price. Sigh. Cheap two attack models are the only serious stat creep we really have to worry about. |

If you are fighting gondor and they are buildings behind their army they are great to ambush but they will soak up casualties quick. |

Not in SBG, they'd still have to deploy with the rest of your force, and once they reach combat, they are no better than the much cheaper Hunter Orcs. |

I used them in a scenario where they were placed on the board last and had some ambush rules, they could not be attacked until they moved. In that respect they were worth it, but that is one very specific set of rules to make them playable. If they were given a special deployment rule then they could be worth taking for a tie up unit or flank unit for trapping. As others have said they are nice models, you can proxy them into a force as a Mordor Uruk or a any other Orc unit, but as Stalkers they are just missing the edge to be useful. And I would buy those 3 blisters for sure, but that is because I like orcs. I think I even took a company of them in WOTR but I can't remember how they did. If you don't want to write them off just yet, make some house rules for them, maybe make the elven cloak optional war gear. If they could still ambush like they did in the scenario I played, they would be awesome for sitting on objectives. |

If there are any 40K players here (I used to be), I've always thought it would be neat to incorporate the "Scout" rule for any ambush-type unit. Basically, they deploy last, anywhere on the board at least 12" from an enemy as long as they are out of line-of-sight, if I remember correctly. |

Yeah, or maybe something like outflank where you can have them deploy out somewhere mid game. They are already expensive, and it would fit their description to be that stealthy. |
