This is my Gondor list. I'm looking for some improvements. Any suggestions?

Boromir of Gondor with horse

Warband 2:
Madril
6 womt with shield
6 Rangers of Gondor with spear

Warband 3:
Damrod
6 womt with shield
6 Rangers of Gondor with spear

Warband 4
Beregond
6 womt with shield
4 Citadel Guards with spear

11 might
38 models

Maybe changing Madril for Cirion?
And some fountainguard?
Cavalry?

Are you over your bow limit?

I like the list, you've got the cheap heroes and high number of D6 troops that Gondor needs to win, and with Boromir you've got a hero that can sufficiently deal with most threats as long as he doesn't get shot/isolated from the rest of your army.

With the rangers providing a solid FV4 to your shield wall then you don't necessarily need to add in more elites, but if the WOMT start dying then they could find themselves in trouble very quickly.

I'd keep Madril in unless you knew you were fighting something terrifying.

I'm not over my bow limit. It's rounded up so the 12 Rangers fit in just fine.

I know, against str 4 the womt also die rather quickly. So Morrannon or Isengard list are realy though. And for Madril, experiance tought me that he will die most of the time to fast, wasting those precious mightpoints.

I like the choice of spear rangers for their higher fight combined with the D6 of WOMT but as you say you probably need a few more of them to plug the gaps in the line when you lose some.

Boromir is a real beast but at 500pts I found that he is such a massive commitment of your total points that it’s a bit hard to justify him compared to Faramir who is 100pts cheaper.

It’s a shame as he is such a cool character, however the fellowship Boromir is an alternative that’s much cheaper but can’t lead warbands of course.

For the cheaper heroes have you considered Denethor – while he doesn’t have any Might he does have the same stats as Faramir but is really cheap for a nice combat hero! Broken mind also mitigated by decent courage and his will point.

Boromir of Gondor is the fellowship Boromir. Thats why he has his own warband. I'd take a few more warriors with shield. Than you also can consider taking a few citadel guards with long bows, so you may can shoot some D5 models with them making the D4 models behind free for your rangers.

Ah for some reason I completely missed Madrill and assumed he led warband 2

I really hope that your fellowship boromir is going to survive. I have bad memories with him dying while he has 5 might not yet spent or something

Most of the time he does. Sadly I lost him once with bowfire in turn one . Now I hide him in a corner behind some trees or other terrain until the enemy is near.
Normally two turns later and some heroic fights he slaughtered halve a warband .

Spending so many pts for something that cannot slaughter half a warband seems such an epic waste
