I'm also thinking of dropping Durburz for a Captain and use the extra points for some more prowlers.
It's a very straightforward horde-type army, no much finesse in it. I'm also considering that to be one half of a "tag team", where I bring the numbers and my bro brings the big guns.

note: i have a couple of cave trolls, but that's it. No other monsters

Yes. He's expensive, but I think that this army needs some striking power

I wish I could help, but I'm new to the game.

I will be interested in the feedback as I'm looking to expend my Goblin Town (GT) Goblins with Moria Goblins (so those Shamans can Fury those Goblins from GT).

It depends what figures you have got as with some out of production you will of course struggle to field them.

At present I like playing 'pure' lists so my 500 pt Moria force would have Cave Troll's, no allies.

The list looks good, but I'd play 2 shamans! If you only field one you have to be absolutely careful and consider all possible shoots at him (Legolas), heroic combats, barge and so on. Besides Domination will be really hard with only one shaman.

What hero should I drop for another Shaman?
