Ithilien Fluff Beyond 500 pts

I've started making up an Ithilien Force.

I have:

Faramir, Madril and Damrod, with

6 Ithilien Rangers (with Spear)
6 Ithilien Guard (with shield)

6 Ithilien Rangers (with Spear)
6 Ithilien Guard (with shield)

6 Ithilien Guard (with shield & Spear)
6 Ithilien Guard (with shield)

But how would you guys expand this, trying to keep the theme of Woodland Creatures? None of the other Minas Tirith characters have this ability and so I would need allies.

Nice list for the expansion on your ranger army I would take a look at the arnor army list you can take arathorn halbarad aragon and many more rangers! Or you could go for the fiefdoms with the blackroot vale Archers. This way you can have a banner and warhorn for the rangers aswell!

you can upgrade to get ithilien guards from warriors of minas tirith you know?
as for 1 extra point they become woodland creatures :)

Problem is mate that I haven't got any Minas Tirith heros left to lead them! The warband would run through a wood and their hero will be trailing behind. :-D

Of course, I could just throw a captain in the list and let him fend for himself, just to get more rangers and Ithilien guard.

You could make it into a post-War of the Ring list, which could have Legolas and other Mirkwood Elves who came to dwell in Ithilien (using either the new Mirkwood figures, the old Wood Elves or a combination of both).
