Post subject:  Making Eagles work

Hi everyone,
I need some help. I really want to play with eagles in a tournament. Sadly, I will still need a banner and some troopers. The tournament is 800pts playing the following missions: to the death, domination and Kill the Messenger.
If you have any experience and/or thoughts please let me know.
These are the list ideas that I am throwing around right now and wanted to get your thoughts.

Elfs and Eagles
Beorn w/ bow 1

Either use their flight ability to take out squishy heroes or just use them to throw stuff. Throwing stuff is your friend, and a huge force multiplier when using multiple monsters.

If you play the first list smartly I think it would be the most difficult to deal with, from an opponents prospective. Especially after having seen those knights in action under a good general. It would be risky if you face certain armies in certain matches though. If you played to your shooting, were mindful of time constants and enemy wizards I think you'd have the best chance with it chance. That's just my impression though. I am sure you could make the other lists preform if you had some practice with them.
