I'm not seeing a ton of info about this list around. I have a full warband of Berserkers, two of pretty evenly mixed Gundabad Orcs, two Ogres, and Bolg. We're still waiting on some releases, like the Catapult Trolls and Warbats. Does anyone play them? Ideas on list building?

I don't have the book with them in, but aren't Warbats just the old Fall of The Necromancer Giant Bats?

I'm not sure, I don't have The Fall of the Necromancer, just There and Back Again, but they seem pretty brilliant.

I mean, pretty much ALL Azog’s Legion looks good, I’m just surprised you don’t see/hear more of them! Is it the cost of the ‘Gundabad’ Orcs, I wonder? The 12 for $65 certainly flew off the shelves...

I do not think Azog's Legion is really ready to be taken in as a whole yet since it is still missing some of its other units and monsters that make up a major part of the signature features are so expensive. As such, I do not think a lot of people have played against them.

I would be very interested to see how they fair against Mirkwood, Isengard, and the Iron Hills once they have their anti-archer/siege weapon tools available. Without the signal tower, bats, or troll catapult I think the army just has a very heavy handicap that makes giving them a fair assessment difficult. Plus, as you mentioned, even the basic troops are expensive. Which puts them in the same boat as the fiefdoms and Arnor in terms of practicality to field.
