I recently threw all of my talent at Morland Studios' Perseus and Medusa vignette. This model probably pushed me further than just about anything else I have painted. The vignette does not completely fill out the provided base, so I had to sculpt the rest of the waves and rocks. I have very limited experience sculpting. Then, I decided a miniature of this quality deserved NMM. Never tried that before. Not bad for a first attempt. Additionally, Perseus' shield was famously reflective. So I decided to try and paint a mirror shield. I failed five or so times. I'm not happy with the final result. The other thing I'm not happy about is the water.

This is a really nice true scale 32mm model. I was able to get it for half-off around Christmas 2021.
