Hello everybody,
I want to present my actual tabletop project:
House Baratheon General informations:
I have watched every season of the fabulous series from HBO. I have started reading the books in june and I am already at the end of "A strom of swords".
Both inspired me to build up an army that is worthy to the story.
The first question was: Which House?
I wanted to choose one of the great houses, but everybody chooses Lannister or Stark. So I decided to choose something quite different.
House Tully and House Arryn of the Vale were to blue (I hate painting blue) and Tyrell and Martell to much southron.
In the end I choose House Baratheon (like you can see above
).
The second question: When should it take place?
Before the Rebellion because I want to choose my heroes myself and can name them without referring to famous people.
The third question: Which manufacturer?
That was not really a question for me .... certainly
Perry Miniatures.
They have a great range and you can combine the parts of the sprues with other sets to get a great diversity. I choose the War of the Roses range and already bought their four plastic sets. Yesterday the last one arrived: Bows and Bills.
And now enough of talking. Here are the pics:
First of all House Swann who are bannermen to House Baratheon and are a really famous and rich family in the Storm Lands.

EDIT: The baratheon forces 
The pikes. I painted them at the beginning of my project, so they are not really looking nice.
The foot knights led by a son of Lord Baratheon. The knights with the emblem on their shoulders are members of the household guard.
The first archers. Painted yesterday night.
Mounted men at arms led by the heir to Storm End.
And last but not least Lord Baratheon (without a name yet) with his Bannerbearer.
That is the whole army I painted yet.

I will not change so much in the forces for each house because there are not so much differences. 
I see it now too ^^
