Marvellous - and a superb paint/flock job - not forgetting a great base. I want one...

The world can never have too many Ents. That's some great sculpting, David. Now I just need to get off my butt and order some of your stuff.

Oh man, I haven't even finished painting your first Tree Giant!

And this one has such character too. Ah well. perhaps an army of bare metal tree giants is my fate.

It's a fantastic sculpt Dave and will be a must for any LOTR fan - it certainly is for me!

Well I'm glad you like it. Getting him finished prevented me from finishing my Master Craftsman entry on time. :-X It is one of my personal goals to win one of those!

May have these ready sooner than I planned for. Could even be as soon as next week. I'll keep you all updated. If anyone really wants one this year I suggest getting in early as I have only ordered in a limited supply run of 25. If I spend any more than that then I will be eating into the kids Christmas present fund which won't go down very well in the Fredericks household. Obviously if those sell well I can buy more with the profit but can't promise that another batch will be in before Christmas. It's a busy time of year for Griffin Moulds.

I atotally agree with Alan's comments, what stands out for me with this new sculpt is the level of detail and moreso, the character that has been built/sculpted into him...topped off by a fantastic paint job ! Great job Dave. I have said time and time again that this hobby needed realistic Ents and plenty of em...keep em coming mate (please).

Just a quick note to say that all those who pre ordered had their orders shipped out earlier today. I felt a bit like Santa carrying a sack full of boxes into the post office.

Well done Dave. I am sure there will be lots of happy folk out there who get a Linden Tree Giant in their Christmas stocking this year.

I'll be ordering my copy in the New Year I'm afraid - Santa has bitten big chunks out of my credit card this season.
