A red paint scheme instead of a brown one and I think you have a pretty convincing Smaug model! :D

He would also need to have a jewel-encrusted belly in order to be Smaug the Magnificent - with just one small bare patch. :D


Thanks for the link. Very interesting looking at those different dragons. Much more 'dragony' than gw one, I think (which reminds me of a cat for some reason I can't quite put my finger on).

The 'scale' is perfectly suited for 28mm LOTR, but you'll get a BIG dragon for your money.

Not 'historically' - but dragons did attack Gondolin, along with a few balrogs.
